Italy: Idee In Rete – an association promoted in 2005 by Tuscany Regional Government to spread Adult Education activities in Tuscany. It is participated by 40 members such as local municipalities, Adult Education centres, public libraries, NGOs, schools, social partners.



Greece: IDEC – a training and consultancy company based in Piraeus, Greece. Clients of IDEC are both SMEs and the larger Greek companies, Entrepreneurs’ Associations, Universities and Chambers of Commerce/Industry, non for profit Organisations etc. Our personnel consist mainly of engineers with post-graduate studies and long term industrial experience.



France: ADPI is a French association created in 1995, based in Paris, which

  • trains and professionalizes young adult migrants
  • helps disabled workers (and especially the hearing impaired) find work,
  • provides examination training for hospital staff and facilities services staff



Sweden: Folkuniversitetet is an adult educational association that offers a wide range of adult education all over Sweden. It is an association of five foundations: the university extensions attached to the Universities of Stockholm, Uppsala, Göteborg, Lund and Umeå. We have a broad open educational program in a variety of subjects; we also run upper secondary schools, schools in higher vocational education, courses for seniors and training, labour market education and further education and training for working life. Folkuniversitetet is independent of all political, religious and commercial interests.



Latvia: Zemgale NGO Centre works since 1998 and its tasks are to: support NGOs in Zemgale region (4th part of Latvia) providing consultations, information, organising educational events, creating strategic documents; to promote co-operation between NGOs, state institutions and business structures; promote fundraising for NGOs; create education programme and organize it for NGO managers; develop voluntary activities; inform Zemgale region inhabitants on NGO sector work and development.



Germany: VHS Cham is a registered, non-profit association in Upper Palatinate; it acts on the regional level. The total number of fulltime administrative, teaching and training employees is 40 plus about 250 freelancers. VHS Cham provides courses in the field of society, vocation, languages, health culture and special courses (second chance schools and literacy programmes). The great part of our courses is directed to unemployed persons, including long-term unemployed. Also In cooperation with local employment services, VHS provide guidance and vocational information, trainings in order to get new qualification adjusted to the labour market. VHS Cham is a part of the network Profilpass in Germany.
